This distingiushed family gave four bishops:

. Angelo was bishop of Noli from 1616 till his death (1645).
. Carlo Maria, born in 1662, bishop of Ventimiglia from 1710 to 1731.
. Giovanni, bishop of Nebbio (Corsica) from1621 to 1646.
. Nicolò, bishop of Brugnato from 1579 to 1584. He, then, went to Mariana (Corsica) till his death (1599). “….the noble Doctor Nicolò Mascardi, together with Doctor Benedetto Celso, revised and issued the Statutes of Sarzana of 1496”.
